Please join me on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 for the official launch and on-sale date of my new picture book Celebrate Nowruz! at The Book Catapult in South Park, a neighborhood of San Diego. Both author and illustrator (me and my daughter, Susie Ghahremani) will be attending, speaking and signing. All ages welcome!  

I'm looking forward to being the FIRST author event at San Diego's newest bookstore! Please join me at the adorable Bird Rock Bookshop, which is grandma owned and operated, for a story about grandmothers and grandchildren. I will be doing a read-aloud of Memory Garden, and there will be crafts and more to entertain little readers.   I look forward to joining Brandeis as Moderator of their annual Book & Author Luncheon on September 9. I will be a panelist at the San Diego Writers and Editors Guild's August meeting on August 25 at 6:30pm in La Mesa.  

I look forward to speaking with SCBWI San Diego on December 14th at 2-4pm about Lessons Learned on the Road to Publication as I worked on Memory Garden, my debut picture book. I will be speaking along with my fellow 2024 Debut Authors and Illustrators; K.
